Palpation

• Patient is in Supine

• Hip is positioned in 40° flexion and 40° ER

• Palpate:

  • Adductor tubercle
  • ASIS
  • Inguinal ligament

Palpate under the fold of the external oblique, and into the femoral triangle. The Iliopsoas bursa is found deep to the floor of the triangle, near the pubic ramus
